Soaring Heart Futons was birthed into Seattle in 1981 by Douglas MacQuarrie & Robert Vadset. Prior to SHF, Doug & Bob had an industrial design business where they designed office buildings, restaurants, & corporate images. They also assisted companies in how they treated their staffs, customers and presented their advertising.
