"Villa Heidelberg" was built and named in 1909 by the original owner, Jacob Mades, from Heidelberg, Germany. It is a grand old Craftsman Style home located in the heart of West Seattle, complete with wood-beamed ceilings, open staircase, original gas/electric "mission" light fixtures, leaded glass windows, a fireplace in the living room, a wrap-around porch, and a view of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.
